Stop by the Ratcliffe Museum and let us tell you all about the Brick Garden! In case you haven’t been here in a while, the garden has evolved into an attractive spot downtown with a bench, planters and a kiosk all surrounded by a black iron fence that matches the fence at the train station.
Would you like to commemorate a member of the military? There is a section for each branch as well as canine units.
Are you connected with the rescue squad or other local service organizations? There are sections devoted to them.
Would you like to show your pride in your high school? There are divisions for Dublin and Pulaski High Schools, the Christiansburg Institute and Pulaski County High School. Reunion committees have been enthusiastic about donating bricks for their classes and individual student bricks are also quite popular.
Last but not least, you might like to donate a section of fence with a plaque engraved with the wording of your choice.
Your donation of a brick will be used to support ongoing museum expenses and help to maintain our inventory of exhibits. Bricks are available for $100 and $200, with an extra $5 for a stock logo if desired. Fence sections are only $150, with donations going to help pay for the fence.
The Brick Garden is a work in progress and a vibrant part of the Ratcliffe’s vision for the future. Everyone is welcome to spend time there reading tributes from your friends and neighbors. Come and see!
